White Sox Top Indians Behind Gonzalez, 7-1
The Chicago White Sox topped the Cleveland Indians, 7-1, in American League action at Progressive Field. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Hialeah, Florida native Gio Gonzalez. The win lifts Chicago to a record of 3-2.
Gonzalez, now 1-0, scattered no hits over 6.2 innings for the White Sox.
