The can says “An American hop assault” and LITERALLY has drawings of hops all over it. If you drink this without expecting bitterness, well, you deserve your pain.

Happy Brew Year (get it?)! Still clearing out the ‘22 models before moving on to the new editions. This porter is maybe the most straight forward one I’ve had, very rich and roasted.
I’ve got the jacket, but I still have some beers I purchased for home to finish off. This one is a dark and robust brew in the style of a Blue Moon or similar Belgian ale.

As far as I know, this is the only holiday IPA I’ve had, which actually makes it stand out from all the winter ales that are out there.
You know, when I see DOUBLE IPA, I expect to get smacked in the face with bitterness, but this is no more bitter than the last IPA I drank, and it is quite pleasant.
