Merry TubaChristmas!
With the end of marching band season upon us, it’s time to look forward to the holidays. We have Thanksgiving in just a couple weeks before we get into the real reason for the season, Whamageddon!
Actually, while I do plan on winning Whamageddon once again (which means staying away from malls, grocery stores, and anywhere a radio is playing), it’s also time for TubaChristsmas!
As with previous TubaChristmases (TubaChristmasi?), I’ll be playing on my King K-70 2-valve baritone bugle. Thanks again to the Steel City Ambassadors Alumni who posted the transcriptions of the TubaChristmas music on their website before they updated it. If you plan on playing a G horn at a TubaChristmas and want/need the parts, let me know and I’ll get them to you.
Here’s what my TubaChristmas schedule looks like:
- 12/1 – Cleveland TubaChristmas
- 12/7 – Ashland TubaChristmas
- 12/8 – Lorain TubaChristmas
- 12/8 – Canton TubaChristmas
- 12/14 – Wooster TubaChristmas
- 12/21 – Akron TubaChristmas (TWO Performances!)
Will you be performing at or attending a TubaChristmas? Let me know in the comments or on social media.
