TubaChristmas #1 for 2025 is in the books. It was my first time playing Youngstown and I’m already looking forward to doing so again next season.
We even made the news!
I took a couple videos from my spot in the back. This first video is when we performed Silent Night. Normally, we play each carol twice with the audience joining in on the second time through. For Silent Night, we dropped out and had the audience sing a capella while holding up their phone lights. This was in memorial of friends and family we’ve lost who we wish were here for the holidays.
This video features a small ensemble which performed about halfway through the concert, giving the rest of us a little break for the rest of the show.
I have two TubaChristmas concerts planned for this weekend: Ashland on the 6th and Canton on the 7th. I hope to see you there!
