Fermented Friday: 2025 Winking Lizard Beer Tour #2 – 3 Floyds Robert The Bruce Scotch Ale Pint Glass (117)

Staying with 3 Floyds for the night, this Scotch ale is smooth, but close to a stout like Guinness in its flavor.

First beer of 2025! This is a light and clean ale with just right amount of refreshing bitterness.

A winter ale with a spicy cinnamon flavor. I audibly MMMMM’d in the bar.

This beer is served in two differently sized glasses on purpose. The smaller glass’ flavor was bolder than the larger, though I enjoyed both.

I could smell this very berry beer before the bartender got near me. The flavor, while tart, isn’t as powerful and is quite enjoyable.

There isn’t much difference between Sierra Nevada’s Summerfest and their Pale Ale outside of a little more body to the ale and a little more

Summerfest is a light and hoppy drink which is easy on your taste buds. If you’re looking for a beer to pound, consider this one.

Now THIS beer maybe TOO good. So smooth and chocolatey, you don’t catch the whiskey base and how powerful this brew is. Savor it.

Honestly, I picked this one because it entered me into a drawing for a trip to Boston, but that doesn’t mean the beer isn’t good.
