For the past two years, I have had the opportunity to work at The Go2IT Group, a managed service provider located in Westlake, Ohio. I came to Go2IT looking for a fresh start after disappointing and stressful experiences at my previous company. During my two years with Go2IT, I was able to work with a great group of associates and clients. I also experienced what it was like to work from home during the lock down periods of the pandemic. Put simply, my focus and productivity were the highest they’ve ever been. Returning to the office was actually disappointing as a result.
This newly discovered desire to work remotely, coupled with a significant pay raise, has led me to close my career’s chapter and move on to my next opportunity. I am excited to announce that, as of today, I am now a Remote Operations Specialist Tier 3 at World Synergy. The company itself is located in Beachwood, Ohio, but, as my title suggests, I will spend most of my time working remotely at home. This will also cut back on my travel expenditures, as I will no longer need to fill up the gas tank every week. The chance to regain 90 minutes of each weekday back doesn’t hurt, either, as it was a 45 minute drive each way to Westlake from Medina.
While I will miss the people I worked with and the clients I worked for at Go2IT, I am excited for this next chapter in my career to begin.
