I’m not sure if the late ending to the final game of the World Series helped, but I find myself awake at 9 AM…I MEAN 8 AM…this morning as our clocks have “fallen back” with the switch to Daylight Standard Time.
Once again, the debate over the usefulness and the potential health issues of changing our clocks twice each year will rage over the next few days until our bodies (mostly) adjust to the one hour shift in our daily patterns.
Personally, I find that any benefits I might receive from the clocks moving back an hour are mitigated by the fact that it’s getting frickin’ cold outside. I start getting uncomfortable when the temperature drops below 70, and, well…

Now that the baseball season is over, I start my countdown until the days start getting longer in December, the first pitch of spring training in February, when we “spring forward” to Daylight Saving Time in March, and the start of the drum corps season in June, when the sun will again warm me like a comfy blanket.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get back under the covers and hope at least one cat shows up to provide extra warmth.
@kevingamin I really wish we'd just pick one and stick to it. I really don't even care which one, changing time twice a year is just dumb.

And we debate this every six months. What’s the definition of insanity again?
