Sammers Bluetooth Foldable Keyboard Test On Boox Tab Mini C E-Ink Tablet

Same keyboard. Different setup.

While the typing experience isn’t changing in this test, I am now connecting my keyboard to an Onyx Boox Tab Mini C tablet. This tablet, while a similar size to my iPad Mini, it is an Android tablet. What’s more, the screen is an e-ink screen instead of the LCD screen most smartphones and tablets have. I actually prefer the e-ink screen for most uses since it is much less of an eye strain.

While I wouldn’t use this tablet for watching videos or playing games, the screen is perfect for media creation such as writing website article or social media updates. What’s more, the setup is quite compact and easy to carry, plus it takes up a small footprint wherever I set it up. For example, I’m writing this website post while sitting at the bar of my local Buffalo Wild Wings, enjoying a nice glass of Guinness as I wait for my carry out order.

Like I wrote in my review of this keyboard earlier today, this keyboard is good, not great, but, for the price, it’s definitely got a strong bang for its buck, especially when paired with a compact tablet like an iPad Mini or this Tab Mini C. If you’re looking for a portable keyboard which is easy to pack with your tablet and works well with mobile devices in general, I definitely recommend the Sammers foldable Bluetooth keyboard.
