2020 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #28 – Market Garden Progress Pils Pilsner

Amazing that this pilsner is so much more powerful in flavor than the red Irish ale I had before it.

2020 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #27 – Sullivan’s Irish Red Ale

I like the flavor. I could use more of it, however. Definitely Irish.

iMore – How to reset your Mac before selling it

If you’re an Apple fan like me, you probably watched the 2020 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote today. During the presentation, completely virtual thanks to our good friend COVID-19, introduced new updates to the various Apple operating systems (iOS, iPadOS, WatchOS, MacOS, tvOS). What you probably didn’t know (yet) was which Apple devices are no longer supported with these new versions…like my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, both from 2012, and my iMac from 2013. It’s time to upgrade!

Drum Corps Memories: 2011 DCI Tour Premiere

The 2020 drum corps season would have started this past weekend, but the cancellation of the season due to COVID-19 has left us with a large hole in our hearts. Since I have been writing reviews for Drum Corps World throughout the past two decades, I thought it would be fun to pull some of them out of my archives and share them with you. Were you at any of these shows, either as a fan, a member, or part of a corps staff or volunteer team?

Today’s look back takes us to 2011 and the first time DCI featured a show in movie cinemas to start the season. The “Tour Premiere”, as it was and still is named, had a very different format than what we see now. Read on for my impression of the show from that night in the theater.
