If a Stone brew isn’t hoppy and bitter, is it really a Stone brew?

2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #45 – Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad Quadrupel
The last beer in the BBQ Extravaganza mini tour. Good thing I didn’t have this with the other two last week. Another powerful brew, the most bourbon-y of them all.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #44 – Boulevard Rye On Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Ale
Another strong brew thanks to the whiskey barrel aging. As you can see, I’m drinking water like a fish because this is a potent and flavorful brew.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #43 – Boulevard Barrel-Aged Whiskey Imperial Stout
The first of THREE beers on a Winking Lizard mini tour. This one isn’t even the strongest, so I’m definitely taking my time, drinking some water afterwards, and getting some food in my stomach. Totally worth it.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #42 – Sam Adams Octoberfest Marzen Glass Of The Month
What…what have I gotten myself into?
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #39 – Bell’s Lager Of The Lakes Pilsner
This is an excellent brew to drink with steak. Easy to drink and blends well with my dinner.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #38 – Heavy Seas TropiCannon IPA
Bartender wasn’t sure if I said “TropiCannon” or “Tropicana”. We both agreed orange flavored beer is the way to go. Always love how bitter hops and citrus go well together.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #37 – Lindemans Pêche Fruit Lambic
Now THIS is a peachy brew! The peach flavor is very strong and enjoyable.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #36 – Jackie O’s Kinda Fuzzy Wheat Ale
I was surprised by how light the flavor of this brew was. The mix of peach and apricot with the wheat gives a nice tart flavor that’s easy to drink.
2022 Winking Lizard World Tour Of Beers #35 – Bell’s Oberon Wheat Ale
I have a soft spot for beers with citrus accoutrements. Oberon does not disappoint, especially after the previous bitter ale.
