
White Sox Rally For Late Win Over Indians
A 3-RBI performance from Yasmani Grandal, who is a two-time All-Star, helped the Chicago White Sox beat the Cleveland Indians, 8-7. Aaron Bummer got the save, the 1st for him this season. The win takes Chicago to 2-2.
With Chicago leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth, Grandal hit a 2-run single off Cleveland hurler Adam Plutko. It was the 3rd hit of the season for Grandal and put his team ahead, 5-1.
“You can’t get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I’m just happy we got the win,” Grandal told the Chicago Gazette.
