Some time ago, I received a number of photos and items related to myself and my family. One of those photos is of my uncle, Richard Gamin, when he was in the Army sometime around World War Two. The photo has a note on the back: “Mein Freund. Beneath the (Eiffel) tower. That’s the French “West Point” way out there. (Richard Guminski)”
Uncle Richard’s last name is our actual family name before it was changed at some point to “Gamin”.
