Throwback Thursday – Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Album

Kevin GaminOctober 5, 2023October 5, 2023

It’s a little hard for me to believe that this album is celebrating its 50th anniversary today. It’s also hard for me to believe that so many classic Elton John tracks came from this release. On top of that, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was his 7th album! I knew Elton John was prolific, but I underestimated just how prolific he was.

This makes me appreciate experiencing Elton John in concert last year during his tour of the same name. It was a little strange attending a concert at a baseball stadium, but I’ll never forget how incredible that night was.

I know what’s on my playlist for tomorrow.
