@kevingamin So I don't know what you're posting at all but I just wanted to reply to this post anyway. I'm super excited about the Bluecoats show this year. I love how exposed the brass parts are. They were willing to take risks and it paid off significantly. I have no doubt that this could be a winner. Just notice how clean they were in their brass playing. You don't often see that so early in the season. I'm sorry to have to say this and trust me when I say I'm not bashing on these performers in any way but Carolina Crown is playing things way too safe. I'll acknowledge that there're some difficult parts in the music but apart from those, I feel like they are not taking as many risks if at all in their music and it's a little disappointing because they've been willing to play some really difficult stuff in the past and they did it well. This year feels a little too easy apart from the sections where they're attempting to impress with their brass but I'm honestly not behind any of it. Meanwhile, Bluecoats has their super cool soundscapes and their brass parts where literally all of the trumpets and other instruments have exposed parts such that noone can hide. That's really risky stuff but they're still doing it. That's called innovation and I think that's gonna carry them to the championship top spot. I don't know about their marching since I can't get anything out of it but just based off sound quality, I wouldn't be surprised if they defend their title successfully.
