I have to admit, I’m starting to have fun playing with Affinity Photo 2 on my iPad. I haven’t even opened the application on a computer yet and I’m still working on the basic functions of the application.
Today’s editing project was with one of the photos I took of the Boston Crusaders during their 2024 DCI Finals performance of Glitch. Here is the original photo I took from the Lucas Oil Stadium press box of a group of horn players during the opener. This was the highest zoom level I could do with my camera, so there’s a lot on the periphery of the horns I was focusing on.
As with yesterday’s photo, I cropped the photo as close as I could to the horn players. While I was also able to use the inpainting brush again, this time I used it to remove the guard members who were cut off when I cropped the photo along the perimeter.
Here are the results:
I like this one better than yesterday since I had some focus issues when I zoomed in and cropped that photo. This one is much clearer, plus the colors and lighting are brighter, so I didn’t feel the need to adjust those.
@kevingamin Affinity Designer is pretty amazing on the iPad as well.
I’ve downloaded it, but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll have to do so.
